Striving for perfection in your game

Nobody is perfect, but your game of golf can very well get close to it. All you need is determination and style.

Perfection- the different views:

There are different ways of viewing perfection. Some like to stick to the established norms of perfection, which ask you to stay on top of the game. This means you have to make hole-in one every single time you hold your club. Some however, interpret perfection in terms of their own abilities and potentials. In other words, perfection means the ability to do the best you can. The latter view makes more sense, as it is quiet impossible to shoot holes without flinching. Infact, nobody, not even the best of players have managed to achieve perfection till this date though they are never despaired of hope. Having said that, there is nothing wrong in striving for perfection to better your game and improve your motivational factor.

Important Tips:

To achieve perfection, you need to be well informed about all the aspects of the game. You should know the technical details as well as all the rules there are. However, your insight matters a lot during interpretation of such details and mastering certain skills. There are many technical skills right from holding the club, standing perfectly and finally aiming for the hole. The better you learn these basic skills; greater are your chances of winning the game. This means you need to practice frequently as often as you can. You also need to have excellent fitness level.

As years go by, your game can take a toll on your body. Therefore it is very necessary to be physically fit and flexible. Besides perfecting your swinging motions, you need to achieve complete control over your mind. This is the most difficult factor. To achieve control, you need to have self-control, positive thinking and innate love for your opponents. Your mind game can earn you a few holes and just as easily make you lose some. Achieving perfection is possible; you simply need skill, determination and a 'hole' lot of luck.
