However, consider this - current world no. 1 golfer, Tiger Woods, was the highest paid professional athlete in 2006, having earned an estimated $100 million from winnings and endorsements. Similarly, Woods' 5-year, $100 million contract with Nike was the largest endorsing deal ever signed by an athlete at that time (in 1996). Still wondering how come this game has so many dedicated players and followers round the world? For the uninitiated, there are more than 30,000 courses running worldwide on golf. Now, if you are not aware of the game then you would think that the people doing courses for this are just wasting time. But once you get awareness about this game then only you would understand the reason for the popularity of the game.

Overall, it gives a good environment to your body. Additionally, it can be played in the daytime as well as in the evening. As such you have the flexibility to choose the time which suits you the best.
